There are many softwares out there that claim to gather info about your system. CPU-Z is one of these, and is so far the best of all that I have used. The thing I like about it is that it isn’t motherboard board specific unlike others. You can install it on any Windows-based PC and get a deep insight of your system within moments!
ReclaiMe data recovery software is a new software out in the market that recovers lost data using the very latest and modern techniques and algorithms. It is Windows-based and works to undelete, unformat & recover data that is lost in any way. It works with most of the media, and supports a large number of filesystems like NTFS, FAT, exFAT, etc. It can also recover RAW filesystem drives. And, it is also capable of recovering data from a MAC storage device which use the HFS (Mac OS Standard), HFS+ (Mac OS Extended) or UFS filesystems (such as Apple iPod, iPhone, etc.) :)
Let’s begin, though Internet Explorer is a good browser, but it’s not up to the mark of the current web standard requirements. Simply put, it’s outdated. Once while clicking a link somewhere, I realized it was being loaded on IE instead of the default browser Firefox (my favorite!) This pissed me off and I decided to completely get rid off it. :|
That annoying thing wasn’t enough that I realized there’s no Internet Explorer in the “Uninstall a Program” thing in the Control Panel. I was furious and what I wanted was to just get rid off IE and take revenge for taking place of my Firefox without my permission. :P
You already know that if you want to lock down your Wi-Fi network, you should opt for WPA encryption because WEP is easy to crack. But did you know how easy? Take a look.
Today we’re going to run down, step-by-step, how to crack a Wi-Fi network with WEP security turned on. But first, a word: Knowledge is power, but power doesn’t mean you should be a jerk, or do anything illegal. Knowing how to pick a lock doesn’t make you a thief. Consider this post educational, or a proof-of-concept intellectual exercise
Long since I’ve posted any PC tips, so here we go. This post will introduce you to the net send and msg.exe and tell you how to use it to send messages to other PCs which are connected to your LAN. :)
The net send command works for most of the versions of Windows upto Windows XP SP 2. Due to the use of the command for spamming over the WWW, this command was replaced by msg.exe in Windows Vista and Windows 7.
It’s a fact that many of the Facebook users keep the site open on their browser only for the sake of chatting with their friends. Are you one of them? If yes, then this post will tell you how to free your browser and chat bring FB Chat to your desktop! :)
While looking for invisibility in FB Chat, I came across this application called Online Now which lets you check your online friends without going online. Though you can’t chat with it being invisible, but you can still check out your online friends without showing online to others. This way you can avoid unwanted chats.
In this post, I am going to share a simple solution, yet not known by many. I had a personal experience of having it with McAfee 2009 Total Protection & Windows Blinds (6.0).
